
Five, ten years from now the only record of this conversation will exist in our
memories. But even that will be spotty; will you remember this exact moment?
Will I remember this question? Our memories are constantly colored, clouded or
discarded. I think there's something beautiful about that. The Past becomes
transient. This is the danger of social media. Can one picture and a flippant
caption capture an experience? Is it fair to imprison a moment?
